Acolyte: The name given to the progenitors of the Apostles of  Carnage and the Disciples of Death. They are Ka'Shator, Gor'NaThal, Ankheg, Glabrezu, and Savir.  In the earliest stages, Savir was not considered an Acolyte, but has since reached Acolyte status.

CarnaPhobia/Curse of Carnage: Mind altering affliction suffered by weak minded infidels when they come into contact with Disciples of Carnage.  It is characterized by hellish and terrifying visions of demons, death and carnage, accompanied by the bleeding from eyes, nose, ears, and mouth.  The affliction is not fatal, but severely incapacitating.

Citadel of Carnage:  Base of operation for launching assaults and/or protecting territory.

Dark Assault:  Major offensive for maximum dominance.  In the 20th Century A.D. the target was America and Europe.  In the 31st the target is the Inner Sphere.

Dark Prophecy:  Prophecy given by Ka'Shator in the year 2281 B.C. proclaiming that his two clans, the Aposltes of Carnage and the Disciples of Death would unite at some point in the future.  And that their union would mark the beginning of a great era of Carnage.

Disciples of Carnage:  The union of the twin societies created by the Acolytes; the societies of the Apostles of Carnage and the Disciples of Death.

Disciples in Violation: Disciples that have gone against the Eternal Doctrine or against the Way of the Disciple.  Also used to describe Disciples that show remorse for their actions in the pursuit of Carnage.

Dormant Apostles: Apostles that remained in the Protos dimension were made dormant by Savir so they could not be detected by an enemy alien race known as the Arilou.  By design, they were the eyes and ears on Earth Prime and became apart of many strategic positions.

Eternal Doctrine of Carnage:  The continous bettering of the Disciples' existence through the dominance of others, and achieving dominance through carnage and, if necessary, insideous covert and/or overt means.

Extreme Reprisal: An intense and often insidious retalliation upon an enemy for violating persons, places, or things deemed sacred by the Disciples. Some examples are: the ruthless extermination of an enemy's women and children for a period of no less than two years.  Contamination of fertilization supplies such that the only viable option an enemy has is to organize the collection of human feces as crop fertilizer.  Or to launch assaults where the purpose is not to kill, but to leave as many victims as possible both blind and deaf or horribly disfigured through chemical alterations.  These are only three examples out of an infinite number of possibilities and combinations.

Gallery of Carnage:  Gallery containing the remains of several dead enemies arranged in a visually pleasing array. The names of the Disciples responsible for the kill are written on plaques below the bodies.  Only high ranking or outstanding enemies grace the walls.  Its an exhibition and tribute to the Disciples achievments in Carnage. The Gallery is located deep within the Ministry of Carnage.

Hades: Soutern most region of HELL.  Location of the main Ministry of Carnage.

Infidel:  Term given to those that do not believe in the ways of the Disciples and those who oppose the Disciples.

Input of Destiny: All Disciples are encouraged to provide the Upper Echelon with intelligent, well thought out suggestions on how to manifest the Destiny of Carnage.

Interstitial Victory: Victory midway between a lower order victory and a Transcendental victory with regards to accomplishing ultimate goals.

Lower Order Victory: Victory in the early stages of an ultimate goal. The first building block of in the complex structure of the ultimate goal.

Ministry of Carnage:  Main base of operations/headquarters. The place where all new Disciples get inducted.  Also contains the Gallery of Carnage. At present, the Ministry is located in Hades.

Perdition:  Northern most region of HELL. Area in which the Acolytes became hellbourne.

Protos: Dimension containing Earth Prime.  Dimension in which the Apostles of Carnage originated. Dimension containing the Inner Sphere,which is now the target of a Dark Assault by the Disciples of Carnage.

Regenerated Disciples: Disciples who have returned from the plane of Zhon, where they were regenerated after being killed through violence. After being regenerated, many go through a brief period of disorientation and sluggish motor skills.  Regeneration of a fallen Disciple can take up to two full years, dependant on the state they were in when killed.  Average regeneration cycle is 6 months.  After regeneration, Disciples are transported from the plane of Zhon to a Sanctum.

Sanctum:  A place where Disciples go after being regenerated to be debriefed and fully recovered.

Sect: Each group inducted into the ways of Carnage, comprise their own sect. Each sect has its own leader, usually it is the person who was in charge at the time of the sect's induction.  The leaders of the sects are governed by the Acolytes. Individuals reborn in the ways of Carnage become apart of the sect that inducted them.  Some of the sects that comprise the Apostles of Carnage are the Izkon Vorr, Akkad, Tikal, and Andhra.  Some of the sects that comprise the Disciples of Death are the Te-zhan, Grakk, and Ha'Don.  All sects from both societies are formally united as the Disciples of Carnage.

The Scrolls:  The scrolls are ancient texts containing the Eternal Doctrine of Carnage.

T'eotra:  Dimension in which the Acolytes started the society-the Disciples of Death.  The Te-zhan Collective were the first to be inducted by the Acolytes. The Grakk, Ha'Don, Vorshon, and Krilla became sects shortly afterwards.  Seventy percent of the Earth in this dimension is under dominance of Carnage.

The Three Books of Carnage: These are the books created after thousands of years of experience that show several ways in which Carnage can be manifested upon the Infidel.  The first book concentrates on pure carnage. The second, concentrates on the dark and insidious.  The third contains the ultimate enlightenment.

Transcendental Victory: Victory in which the Disciples' society makes a significant step forward in all goals.

Upper Echelon: Echelons of the Hell OverLord, Hell Razer, and the Hell Khan.  Represents the upper most ruling body.

V'eotra: Dimension to which the Apostles of Carnage took up residence to avoid extermination by an alien race known as the Arilou.  Fifty-five percent of Earth in this dimension is under dominance of Carnage.

Wrath of Carnage:  The ultimate act of Carnage.  Used on the most hated and despised enemies.  A Wrath of Carnage involves the total annihilation of an enemy.  Everyone dies. Civilians and Warriors alike.  

Zhon:  Plane in which all devoted Disciples are sent to be regenerated after being killed through violence.  This is how they remain immortal.
